Hi all,
Still amazed by the achievement.
Your 39 days on the ice to only return in 10mins is insane. But you are one of the very very small population that has been to the bottom of the earth, where is doesn't matter which way you turn it will always be north.

But the burning question in our office is "Whats next?"

Have a safe journey home

From all at 110%

Congratulations - that is some achievement especially for Alan. It is easy to sit here in a warm house looking at the pictures - but hard to imagine the incessant cold - endless skinning - and the long tedious nights. You have done really well and timed it nicely as our papers in the UK are full of Polar memories.

Warm good wishes - Alun

You must all be delighted at the thought of sleeping in a bed-not in a tent. Enjoy your very well deserved rest. Now you are all celebrities and in the media will have to negotiate with Max Clifford!
Have a good flight and some on board vodka no doubt. Vanessaxx
